Terms of service

Welcome to Proov. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

0. Who Operates Proov

ProoV is operated by Shubham Mandawewala as a sole trader, Wilhelmstr. 27, 74072 Heilbronn, Germany. Full operator details are in our Impressum.

1. Use of the Service

Proov provides projects, scorecards, and verified proof records. You agree to use the platform only for lawful educational and professional purposes. You must not attempt to abuse the system, submit malicious code, or circumvent our review mechanisms.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account credentials. Proov is not liable for any unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.

3. Intellectual Property

The projects, code, and content you submit remain your intellectual property. However, by submitting content to Proov, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your submissions solely for the purpose of providing the evaluation service.

4. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may also delete your account at any time from your settings. Deleting your account erases your personal data and uploaded files, while records needed to keep certificates you have already earned verifiable are retained in pseudonymized form, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Data Privacy and GDPR Compliance

Your privacy is critically important to us. We process all personal data strictly in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 6. Content rules, reports and moderation

These rules apply to everything companies publish on ProoV: company profiles, legal notices, job ads and messages to students.

What is not allowed

  • Asking applicants for money of any kind, such as fees, deposits, training costs or starter kits.
  • Asking for copies of ID documents, a video identification, bank or card details, or a crypto wallet.
  • Moving applicants away from ProoV to WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal or a private phone number.
  • Parcel forwarding, “product tester” and “earn money from home” schemes.
  • Requirements about nationality, religion, marital status, pregnancy or disability, and anything else that discriminates against applicants.
  • Using another organisation’s name, logo or look, or claiming to be an employer you are not.
  • False or misleading information, and anything else that is illegal.

How we check

  • Today a person at ProoV checks every company before its jobs can go live. Automatic checks, for example whether the work email matches the company website, help that person and never approve or reject a company on their own.
  • An automatic rule reads what a company writes when it saves it. When the text clearly breaks a rule above, the save is refused and the message names the rule. Some findings go to a person instead.
  • When we restrict a company account (we reject it, ask for more evidence, suspend it or refuse its content), we tell the company why: the rule or reason, the facts we relied on, whether an automatic rule or a person decided, and what the restriction means and how long it lasts.

Reports

Anyone can report content on ProoV at projectstudy.in/report, with or without an account. A person at ProoV reads every report. We decide reports about scams within 24 hours and all others within 7 days, and we tell the reporter our decision when we have a confirmed address. We do not give the company the reporter’s name or email address, unless the law requires it.

Asking for another review

A company can ask once, from its ProoV company console, for another review of each decision about its account. Where possible a different person at ProoV looks at it. A company can also turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act, or to the courts.

Companies that post jobs on ProoV also agree to the employer terms.
