Employer terms
Version 2026-10-01 · Effective 1 October 2026
These terms apply when your company opens a company account on ProoV to post jobs for students and graduates. Our terms of service apply as well.
1. Who runs ProoV
ProoV is operated by Shubham Mandawewala as a sole trader, Wilhelmstr. 27, 74072 Heilbronn, Germany. Full details are in our Impressum.
2. Your company account
- You open the account for a company you work for and may act for. Everyone in the account acts for that company.
- A person at ProoV checks every company before its jobs can go live. We may ask for a register excerpt, send a code to a role address on your website’s domain, or call the phone number in your website’s legal notice. Until we approve your company you can write drafts, and nothing is public.
- Before your first job goes live you add a legal notice (Impressum): your company’s legal name, address and a quick way to reach you. Students see it on your job pages. Keep it correct.
- Your website is part of how we check you. Once we approve your company you cannot change it yourself: write to us, and we check your company again.
3. What you may post
- Real jobs at your company for students and graduates: working student (Werkstudent) roles, internships and entry-level roles.
- No fees for applicants. Never ask an applicant for money, for copies of ID documents or a video identification, for bank or card details or a crypto wallet, and never move them to WhatsApp, Telegram or a private phone number.
- Nothing that discriminates, for example by age, gender, nationality, religion, marital status, pregnancy or disability, and nothing false, misleading or otherwise illegal.
- The full rules are in our content rules. Automatic rules check what you write when you save it. They refuse what clearly breaks a rule, name the rule, and send what needs a closer look to a person.
4. Applications and personal data
- When a student applies to your job on ProoV, ProoV passes on what the student chose to share. From the moment your company receives it, your company is responsible for that data as its own controller under the GDPR: use it only to decide about the application, keep it safe, and delete what you downloaded once you no longer need it.
- When you move an application on or close it, ProoV tells the student in its own message, on your instruction.
- ProoV does not rank or score applicants for you, and it keeps no recruiter notes, tags or ratings about them.
- ProoV keeps its copy of an application until about 6 months after the final decision, and then keeps only a record without the student’s name.
5. When we restrict your account
- We may hold a job, refuse a change, reject your company or suspend it when it breaks these terms or the law, or when we see signs of a scam. While a company is suspended its jobs are off the board and applicant data is closed to it.
- Each time, we tell you why: the rule or reason, the facts we relied on, whether an automatic rule or a person decided, and what the restriction means for you.
- You can ask once, from your company console, for another review of each decision. Where possible a different person at ProoV looks at it. You can also turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act, or to the courts.
6. Price
ProoV charges your company only a price that ProoV has quoted to your company in writing and that your company has accepted before it applies.
7. Changes and ending
- When these terms change, the version above changes. If a change matters for your company, we write to the members of your company account before the new version applies to you.
- You can close your company account at any time by writing to us. We may close it if you break these terms seriously or repeatedly.
