Built an end-to-end beginner SOC incident analysis for a phishing-led breach: triaged the email, identified the anomalous login and real IOCs, mapped the attack to kill-chain stages, and chose a containment sequence that cut access before remediation. Also drafted a GDPR Article 33-style notification and wrote an executive incident report grounded in the case timeline and impact.

What stood out6
- Caught the anomalous sign-in row and explicitly identified impossible travel
- Selected the real IOCs without blocking benign indicators
- Sequenced containment to cut access first before broader remediation
- Anchored the real-case recommendation to the attack chain and the reported ~40 TB exfiltration
- Leakage-Free Incident Reasoning
- SOC Triage and IOC Identification
