Built a full legacy-code modernization pass for a fleet service system: corrected the wear calculation, handled missing service readings safely, fixed the nightly report’s average and crash path, and repaired a hidden mileage-conversion bug in the helpers. Also added the missing regression test, wrote a data-driven breakdown-risk analysis that follows the fleet history rather than the mileage assumption, and documented the verification process in clear NOTES.md.
