Built a working modernization pass for a legacy fleet-maintenance service: fixed the wear calculation so nearly-worn cars are flagged, handled missing service readings safely, corrected the nightly report’s average and crash path, and found the hidden mileage-conversion bug in a helper module. Also added the missing regression test, preserved the original service rules, and produced a data-driven breakdown-risk analysis aligned with the provided fleet history.
